Christmas 2021. What are you hoping for?

I'v given up on this year

I'm hoping for

• all this crap to be a bad memory
• to spend Christmas with my family
• maybe even have a boyfriend.

• A healthy baby (20 week scan tomorrow!!)
• To see my parents on Christmas Day before they go into tier 4
• That my Nan stays well and happy

...on a less serious note, I'm hoping new research comes out which says that wine and soft cheeses are safe during pregnancy

A family Christmas with no one in hospital for any reason

Just a return to normal Christmases really.
Seeing family, seeing friends, being able to actually go shopping rather than having to order everything online.
And to be able to look back at this Christmas and say thank goodness we don’t have to go through that again.

To be able to go to the UK without problem and to see family and friends.

To Covid to be a distant memory and all this crap to be over!!

A Christmas like 2019 would do me.

A proper Christmas, seeing family and friends
Going to the pub
Our department party which is always LEGEND ( other departments fight to get invited to ours) - Note to self - try not to drink too many Cosmopolitans and fall in the coat rack, unlike last year (ahem)
Shopping in real life rather than online, and being able to stop for a nice lunch and a pint on the way home

Just the general things really, although I do notice from the above that alcohol seems to be involved much of the time

• Maybe something from Chanel? 😏

To be able to celebrate with loved ones and not keep bursting into tears.

I’d like things to have improved for a couple of friends who are having a spectacularly shit time.

And I’d like my Dad to have moved in next door (house purchase has been stuck in probate for months and months).

Erm. Be able to have my parents over for dinner.

My secret Santa at work got me a Chanel nail varnish I've never had something so pretty in all my life. It was so beautifully wrapped I felt sorry to open it.
