One of Carla Lane's more memorable characters, spoken of for a long time before seen on screen.

Went on to other parts including working with Mike Leigh. No age- RIP.

She was fantastic in that show and has brought back memories of watching Bread - something that all the family could look forward to and enjoy. They don't seem to make shows like that anymore.
