anyone else’s body scream I’m ovulating 40+?

Hit the big 40 and I would say for the last 12 months and onwards my body literally screams every hormonal change! Today it’s been a migraine I’m on day 13 of my 27 day regular cycle - my body is literally aching for sex - like my nether regions are pining for it - i can’t keep up with the clear discharge - my left ovary is playing up (probably the one ovulating) bar the bloody migraine my body is saying get pregnant now or it might never happen!

I don’t want to get pregnant and DH and I very careful cos we conceived first time with both kids. I just want my body to calm down - all day I’ve been like a raging dog on heat with a bad headache to boot

From 40 onwards I've been desperate for sex when I ovulate, massive crush on a random tv actor, distracted by my urge to pro create!

I'm nearly 44 now and it seems to be calming down a bit, it's quite a relief!

Yes to the big mofo spot! One for ovulation and will be hanging around on Christmas Day at least no one has to subject themselves to a cheek kiss from me!

It’s at times like this I think oh I’d have another two lol! Especially as I see friends 40/41 having their third babies (with big age gaps)!

Huh, I'm not 40 but also have many of these symptoms, more discharge, sore boobs, which I've only ever had in pregnancy, headaches, bloody wires coming out of my chin, have been horny since DP and I got together 😆 but I've noticed I start getting grumpy if its been about 3 days since we've had sex and this increases if it goes past that. I have put all this down to hormones but as I'm on the pill and take it back to back, I have no idea where I am in my cycle.

Definitely think there needs to be more about the ‘change’ at 40 I’m going to research - if I find anything useful I’ll let you know!

Nature is odd isn't it? Your hormones telling you to seduce your partner and reproduce but simultaneously giving you a big spot and some bristly chin hairs to impede you.

I'm 44 and been like this for 2 years!
Spots are like a teenager! Big point nipples and achey boobs. Was having a migraine but taking Fever few daily seems to have dulled this to a bit if a headache. Feel very frisky!
However, achey joints are now going the party so far I'm slipping into Peri
