How do you get your glasses properly clean?

Mine seem to get quite cloudy and I've bought those wipes but they don't seem to get properly clean, still a bit smeary. What's the trick?

Proper spray from opticians and e cloth. When I got my £££ varifocals I was determined they wouldn’t get scratched. It works really well.

Iso alcohol

Vision express and specsavers sell a special spray.

Soap or washing up liquid and water, then dried with a towel They come up lovely.

Ultrasonic jewellery cleaner, cleans specs, cd/dvds, watches etc.

Thanks I did wash them with washing up liquid as advised and that did the trick so I'm delighted
