Have name changed. Will keep it brief. I live in a small community and so chat to lots of people when I’m walking my dog. Lots of us exchange cards etc. Over the last few months someone new with a job that requires them to travel around the village a lot (think postman but not that) has been chatting to me more and more and asking questions about me. He put a card through my letterbox (not suspicious-he knew where I live- we all do). I am single and so is he. I feel there’s a spark but I might be wrong. I am not looking for a partner and am quite content on my own but for some reason this is making me have butterflies. We always wave at each other and say hello and he and my dog seem to love each other. I always have my guard up but not sure here if I need to chill out and see what happens. For context, I am in my late 30s and he is (I think) in his late 40s possibly early 50s. I don’t know what response I expect really but I can’t ask my brother for advice as he will assume this man is a serial killer etc. Grin

It does sound as though he is interested in you, possibly just sees you as a friend but he obviously thinks enough of you to send a card. Good luck! x

A card with kisses on it???? Did you send one back? Maybe suggesting a drink/meet up in the New Year???

You’ll regret it if you don’t find out.

Ask him for NY drink, you can sit outside w mulled wine or something.
