Gavin and Stacey Christmas special suitable for 9yo?

We watched it last Christmas and can't remember anything about it beyond Nessa and Bryn's duet. Anyone seen it recently who can advise?

Oh good! Just got to persuade DH... he says he doesn't want to spend the entire episode explaining the jokes. Which probably would happen - 9yo is one of those kids who can't stand not knowing what's going on. 😬

The newer one? There's some scenes where Gavin and Stacey are talking about shagging on the ghost train .'Apart from that not too bad.

I wouldn't, watched it last week & there's a scene with Stacey trying to get the ride I wouldn't want my 10 year old to witness. I think she'd be bored shitless as well.

There are loads of references to sex which could go over her head, along with all the callbacks to the series. Has she seen the rest of it?

No, I wouldn't watch it with my 9 year old. Too many sexual references and swearing (in general, can't remember about that particular one). My 13 year old has seen it though.

It's a he - he hasn't seem any others but had expressed an interest. I mostly just want to rewatch it myself but he's lost interest now anyway. Balls. Yes, we would have to explain each and every sex joke, so probably not worth the grief!
