OMG my butcher's order has just arrived.

I knew it would be good and I'd worked out the price would be roughly the same as Tesco for better quality but my '20 pigs in blankets' (for 4 of us) are intact 20 full size fat sausages wrapped in lots of lovely steaky. More than a meal in themselves

I started getting all my meat from the butcher and fruit and veg from the farm shop at the start of first lockdown and have carried on....the difference in taste, quality and how long it lasts is incredible, and not much dearer either.

Amazing! I've bought, cooked and eaten my Christmas Day pigs in blankets twice already. Oops.

I went to collect my piggies from the butchers today we aren't even having a traditional lunch we are having Chinese cooked from scratch - but will find a chance to have the piggies at some point
