I can't imagine how they must be feeling stuck in their cabs with no toilet/ washing facilities. I know that they are getting snacks and bottles of water but it must be grim.

I mean, how hard would it have been to test them when the port closed and again today? Might have helped with the efforts to convince Macron.

I'm no Brexiteer but I think what he's doing is inhumane and it plays right into the hands of the bullying EU narrative.

It's got nothing to do with Brexit, this is because of the Government's handling of the "new strain".

Coincidentally, it's the same as what might happen with brexit though...

Well, it's us that will get the blame not the French. We certainly could have done more to help them but at the end of the day it's France who closed the border with no notice.

They will be stood around having a nice bbq and a bit of a party. My dh is a hgv driver and has said that the Eastern European drivers often park up together and have a bit of a shin dig. They'll have toilets, microwaves, kettles and all sorts in their cabs.

It must be awful I agree, they are wanting to get home too. Pawns in a game sadly.
