FatFace - error.

Last Friday, straight from work, I (thankfully) did some last minute shopping in my local town.

Bought eldest some clothes from FatFace. Bill was £190 - I was so rushed that I didn't question it but thought it was steep.

Left parcel in boot of car to hide from DC and I'm wrapping now. The shop assistant has only gone abs charged me twice for the same item - had to be an expensive pair of dungarees, didnt it - at nearly £60. They've now shut until 2021.

What can I do?! Will they believe me when I ask for a refund of this item? What are my options here?

Grateful for any advice.

I've always found them fairly responsive on social media, and their customer service quite helpful. Why are they shut - just because you're in tier 4? I don't think their mail order or other shops are shut, so worth phoning them - they usually open right til Christmas and have sales starting from night of 24th - they're still sending me lots of email (just got one) so would think they're still open.

Whether you can prove it or not, harder to say. You'd hope their stock counting might help, but I don't know. Good luck.

Glad you got it sorted op :) Can I ask how you contacted them? I'm also in Wales and have noticed I was overcharged on their website a few days ago, but I'm still waiting on an email response to a different email I'd sent over two weeks ago!

Fatface are really good imo I had an order of ££ that came in little more than a paper bag torn right up the middle and majority of stuff missing it had been stuck together with tape but obs after the contents had fallen out. I messaged(via fb) and emailed and had what was in stock resent and the stuff that wasn’t refunded no problem and v quickly and any time I’ve ever had an issue they’re fast to resolve. Glad you got your refund op and hope you get your issue sorted too @mummabubs
