Has anyone posted presents since the weekend?

I know they won't get there on time but I have some for my sister and her family who we won't now be seeing. As it happens they're not too big or heavy and could be posted fairly easily.

TBH I wasn't going to, I thought we'd save them and have "Christmas" when we can meet, but she says she's posting ours.

I'm just thinking, knowing they won't be there for 25th and that 1000s of people are probably adding extra parcels to the system, it might be better to wait until the New Year at least. Or will the Postal Srvice cope?

I sent mine today via Hermes. Booked and paid online and dropped them off to a shop. It was just under £3 or just under £5 for the 1-2 day service which I went for so will almost certainly be there before Christmas.

Not since, but I ordered some things on Amazon on Friday evening (when in horror I realised all the presents for one family member I really thought I'd ordered weeks ago, I hadn't) and they came this evening.

But even if they don't get there by Christmas, they will soon after, and who knows how many months it will be before we're out of tier 4?

Try UPS

I sent presents on Monday. Due to the size of the parcel it's going by Parcel Force. Should be there in time. Presents to me got put in the post today. Keeping fingers crossed.
