We are in Tier 4 and it’s pouring with rain. I’ve done loads of housework and am now about to put some Christmas songs on and do some festive baking while DS goes nuts in his bouncer for half an hour in an effort to feel a bit cheerier.

I’m getting there!
What about you?

Sat with a hot chocolate on mumsnet, taking a break after bleaching the bathroom then its on to the bedrooms. Hoping to get every room spotless (even though it will last maybe 20 minutes with a 6 & 8 year old pair of boys running amoke)

Going to order a take away pizza tonight because you can't cook in a newly scrubbed kitchen Grin

Tier 4 here too. I'd booked today off work so I could get various jobs done and I've posted two present parcels off and done a fair-sized supermarket shop for food we need for the next few days. Apart from that, I'm sitting drinking tea and wondering whether I can be bothered to put any more decorations up or not.

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 21/12/2020 14:54

Exhausted by work, grieving, MH taken a nosedive as the pharmacy 'lost' my meds so I was without them for a while and I'm being bullied by a colleague who I have to do 24 hour shift with on Christmas Day.

I have a load of gift wrapping to do, but the people they're for are in the house so that's making it slightly difficult. Grin
I'm hoping they go out for a while later on.

Currently watching Kitchen Nightmares while DS sets up his new Samsung watch. Then we will be rearranging the furniture so we can put the tree up. Grin

We are Tier 3 in Scotland. I have been up since half 3 (kitten woke me up?) brain was going a million miles an hour. Been for breakfast (eggs benedict) went to town and the supermarket for a xmas food shop and the normal weekly shop. Got to go pick the kids up and then nip to Tesco as Aldi didnt have quite a few things I needed. I'm shattered now. My dads got a triple heart bypass on Wednesday and I'm stressing about it, Brexit, homeschooling when the kids go back etc. The weather is shit.

Working at home. Kids are home as childminder is isolating due to contact. Thankfully work is quiet as a lot of people finished for Christmas but youngest has still managed to wreck the house .

AvoidingRealHumans · 21/12/2020 15:08

Its my birthday so I'm using that as an excuse to eat a whole box of lindt balls.
Apart from that I'm home with my 2 sons contemplating when to wrap the rest of the Xmas gifts.
Might go really wild and go to mcdonalds later.

Matchsticklady · 21/12/2020 15:37
