For the whole family or for adults (please say which is which)

I don’t want sentimental/ slightly sad, yet uplifting this year. I want us to be laughing. Does anything fit the bill?

Thank you!

Nativity is good for all the family. It has my husband and his dad laugh and they don't laugh at much! Grin

Scrooged, obvs.

Although, as a family film, bear in mind that the past is a foreign country.

Get Santa. For the whole family.

Ithinkim · 21/12/2020 21:36

Four christmases I think it's called, with vince Vaughan is funny.

User158340 · 21/12/2020 21:39

Lethal Weapon (Christmas themed as set at Christmas and a lot of humour, probably more for adults).

Kohlx · 21/12/2020 21:42

The Night Before

Kohlx · 21/12/2020 21:43

Sorry should have added that it's probably for adults (and older teens)

  • National Lampoons Christmas (or any other theirs really)
  • Home alone
  • The Holiday. Not a hilarious laugh-a-minute style, but a lovely film anyway

All the above a child friendly

beepbeeprichie · 21/12/2020 21:47

Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Adults. I laugh all the way through. Every time!

ShinyGreenElephant · 21/12/2020 21:48

I watched Holidayed with DD12 and we found it funny, not appropriate for younger ones though (or her really tbh!)

Scrooge, the musical with Albert Finney, very jolly & fun.

Darklane · 21/12/2020 21:55

Old film but good & funny with Danny Kaye, White Christmas.

Thank you! You've reminded me of some good ones!
