Exactly what and from where are you buying for your cheese board?

I feel quite posh asking that as up u til recently I was a picky eater.
So I only discovered the delights of a cheese board recently.

So from all you seasoned cheese board eaters, please can you state what cheeses, what crackers/biscuits (ie aldi, Sainsbury’s, what type etc or a selection box)
AND if you’re reeeally posh what else are you having with it? Chutney? Alcohol?

I want to open my cheese board eyes and find my perfect cheese board. Thank you Smile

I’ve bought a hamper for a gift and some cheese (the Dart mountain dusk and a goats cheese , Cardigan Ban from Tamnagh Foods) delivered on the dates picked really lovely. tamnaghfoods.com/index.html
I also have some Wokey Hole, a Camembert I picked up in Sainsbury’s and believe it or not an Asda cheddar which is lovely.

I HATE cheese but my boss loves it & I buy her a cheese hamper each Christmas - I've always got it from Pong Cheese & she reports back that they are lovely cheeses from all over the UK & world. However not sure you'd get a delivery now.

I always have quince jam with my cheese board - sooo good!

I forgot, the cheese man in the market has charcoal cheddar, so it's mottled black but the charcoal seems to really bring out the fragrance of the cheese.

I really cannot wait to try any of these.

I have to say the Quince stuff does not look nice at all but it was that attitude that made me a picky eater for years and miss out on all the good stuff.
So no doubt I’ll like it.

Quince is delicious. Do give it a go.

Wish I could say the same about the Cheshire Blue cheese, but I can't. It was rank and so revolting I've reviewed it on the Ocado website. I am not alone in that view either - 20 one star reviews and about one saying it was nice.
