Setting resolutions by the moon cycle

Anyone done this before?

Rather than trying to commit to a year I'm going to set an intention of adding something to improve my life on the new moon e.g. Walk an average of 70,000 steps a week. On the full moon I'll review it and see if I need to adjust it a bit, ditch it or continue, and also remove a habit e.g. Ditch the mid morning snack.

The aim is that you review each habit on the new and full moon, so nothing lasts for a 2 week period unless you choose to continue. You add improvements when it waxes, and remove something when it wanes.

I thought about it but find it too difficult to keep track of what moon phase we're in.

Although now I've said that it sound stupid as I could just look outside Grin

It's probably a sad reflection of modern society that I downloaded an app rather than thinking about looking outside.

In my defence I barely see the outside world now I WFH all the time!

I couldn't be arsed to track things by the moon, but I have started tracking things/making goals in 12 week periods rather than 12 months. It does help to break things down into smaller segments.

I have Indian clients who consult their astrologer before making decisions on investments and hires. It seems to work for them Grin.

Not a bad idea. For successful veg you should garden according to the moon.

At the risk of sounding like a nutter I've been cutting my hair by the moon over the past year. There's an app I use, ILuna, which tells you which phase the moon is in and it does notifications etc. It tells you which sign the moon is in too.

I do Tarot so that's why I'm interested in moon stuff.. I'm not crazy, honest...!
