Help me read this name

Not long since moved into this street and just received a Christmas card from the neighbours. Want to send a card back but cannot read one of the names.
Polish family, parents have 'English names' but not sure on the baby's name.
Is it Conrad, Lomad, lonrad?
There are no other letters written similar to the one at the start of the name.

Looks like Lonrod to me.
I would chicken out though and say something like "wishing your lovely family a peaceful Christmas from all of us at number 5".

Superstardjs · 20/12/2020 17:02

Konrad

SantasBritchesSpelleas · 20/12/2020 17:03

Just trace it onto your card exactly as written Grin.

SoupDragon · 20/12/2020 17:04

I think it looks like Lonrad.

Konrad makes much more sense but I just can't see a K there.

reallifegetsintheway2 · 20/12/2020 17:04

There was an identical thread like this last year - spooky!

AaronPurr · 20/12/2020 17:05

Konrad would be my guess, but it only looks like a K if I half close my eyes and tilt my head. 😂

SantasBritchesSpelleas · 20/12/2020 17:07

Google tells me

"Lonrad is a humanoid-like creature that has a bright fuchsia skin color. He appears to have no hair and no fingers. Lonrad is the main protagonist of Lonradventures and a resident of Blintville. He is best friends with Monky, Tristan, Xander and Ducky"

berrygirlie · 20/12/2020 17:10

Just say "Merry Christmas yadda yadda, love from your friends at Number x / x Cottage etc" (do remember to fill in the blanks or it will be even more awkward!)

DobbyIsAFreeElf · 20/12/2020 17:12

Baby is a boy if that helps.
I'm aware the parents 'English names' may more than likely be a variant of polish, so they would have probably wrote a English variant of the baby's name if they could have.

I feel mean writing from no12 when they have gone to the effort of writing there names 😂

This Grin Grin
berrygirlie · 20/12/2020 17:14

Did they write your name specifically?
If not just write "to our friends at x" and then fill out you and your family's name. It's not mean, it's better than getting it wrong Grin

DobbyIsAFreeElf · 20/12/2020 17:39

Not written my name in the card. I was hoping that I would be able to somehow keep a list of the names of neighbours for future Christmas cards

Just asked Polish partner and he says it's absolutely "Konrad".

PuppyMonkey · 20/12/2020 17:44

Merry Christmas to all at no 6,

Love Dobby and family xxx

willsantausesantatize · 20/12/2020 17:51

Conrad?

When you click on a thread to try be helpful and just know you're going to be up half the night with eyes the size of dinner plates. 👀 👽

DonkeyMcFluff · 20/12/2020 18:35

Definitely Konrad. What you think is an L with a loop on the top, is not. If you look carefully the “loop” is incomplete. They’ve written an L shape then added a vertical stroke afterwards. The left part of the “loop” is obviously a separate vertical stroke.

LaPoesieEstDansLaRue · 20/12/2020 18:36

I think it's Konrad

xmasfairybuns · 20/12/2020 18:38

Konrad

TenThousandSpoons · 20/12/2020 18:42

Lonvad?

inappropriateraspberry · 20/12/2020 18:42

Just write the parents names and add '& family.' Great when you can't remember all the children, or covers extra family members who may be living with them.

TenThousandSpoons · 20/12/2020 18:43

But must be Konrad

BrowniesAreSuper · 20/12/2020 18:45

Yep, Konrad. That's a Polish name.

Montsti · 20/12/2020 18:46

Konrad definitely..

Firebird83 · 20/12/2020 23:55

Looks like Konrad to me
