iPad vs iPad Air?

Can anyone recommend the iPad or iPad Air?

I’ve just bought the iPad Air and wish I’d saved some money and got the normal one. My previously iPad is the basic model. I got the pencil snd had fantasies of writing notes on it which you can then convert to text documents. Apart from it doesn’t recognise my handwriting. So it took 10x as long and was very frustrating. It’s actually quicker for me to hand write stuff and type them up!

So iPad is just used now for surfing the web, emails and YouTube. So wasted some money I didn’t need to. The basic one would do all that. I’ve used the iPad Air for a couple of hours and actually gone back to using my old iPad as I’m so pissed off with it. It’s a pretty colour though.
