we are having sweet potato and cheese lasagne.

I've not eaten lately due to stress and anxiety and am really looking forward to it.

Sounds delish OP! Do you make it?

We’re getting a sneaky post-DC bedtime takeaway. Probably from our local (very good) burger joint. Not had one for ages. I’m seven months pregnant and thinking bollocks to the heartburn!! (Will regret this later).

Chicken korma that's has been in the slow cooker all day. A new recipe from bbc good food so 🤞🏻

PrincessSarene · 19/12/2020 16:09

Fish pie with broccoli for us. Part of hbd effort to clear out space in the freezer ready for the influx of Christmas food and leftovers Smile

Spied · 19/12/2020 16:09

Sounds lovely!

Pasta and cheese and you can't go wrong!

MrsBeltane · 19/12/2020 16:10

DH is cooking a chicken curry (hopefully). Rice and parathas to accompany.

PrincessSarene · 19/12/2020 16:10

@SaxonWassail Sweet potato and cheese lasagne sounds like fab comfort food! Have you got a recipe for it?

coffeewithmilk · 19/12/2020 16:11

We have a beef stew cooking away in the oven with pearl barley and probably some mash on the side

crochetmonkey74 · 19/12/2020 16:12

I'm having a Chinese and watching strictly final

Thehogfatherstolemycurry · 19/12/2020 16:13

Home made pizza and garlic bread

HollyandIvyandallthingsYule · 19/12/2020 16:19

💐 hope your anxiety abates for a while.

We’re having leftovers - we had chicken biryani and dal yesterday, and today I’m using what’s left to make rice, chicken and broccoli pakoras which I will serve with the leftover dal on the side.

AtleastitsnotMonday · 19/12/2020 16:21

I’m doing tandoori chicken with a spiced cauliflower, spinach, carrot and red onion salad and flatbreads for those those that want them.

Longdistance · 19/12/2020 16:22

I’ve cooked the past few days. Dh is cooking the steak with hasselback potatoes, asparagus and a mushroom sauce. Dds are having McDonald’s.

LittleRa · 19/12/2020 16:25

Ooh yes, lasagne recipe please @SaxonWassail 😋

WorraLiberty · 19/12/2020 16:27

Sirloin steak, deep fried chilli prawns and salad.

SaxonWassail · 19/12/2020 16:29

Oh it is disgustingly and disgracefully simple!

I bought a bunch of pre-made cheese sauce from Waitrose, and have cooked sweet potato and then mashed it with nutmeg and butter. layered with the cheese sauce, added grated cheese, chopped sage (not fresh this time) and cook. Stupid easy, and lazy but DS1 has sensory and food issues so i keep it as plain and mild as possible.

Sounds nice!

I don't have anxiety but I do have laziness so haven't cooked anything properly for ages. Tonight I'm making a creamy fake chicken curry using a 2-step jalfrezie sauce and spice mix from Home Bargains. I'm serving it with a naan bread and some yoghurt and mango chutney.

Thank you. :) I have started medication and am hopeful. But very very tired.

I cooked a whole chicken with lemon, garlic and parsley.
Potato dauphinoise, honey roasted carrots, sprouts fried with balsamic, meat juice gravy.
And Yorkshire puddings! Grin
