Pyjamas - so hard to find a certain pair!

DD (12) wants a pair of pyjamas - should be simple right? Nope.

She doesn't want the trousers that taper in, she wants them like regular pyjamas trousers but while I can find loads of these (Fatface do them every year for men and women), I can only find the taper in type for girls.

Help!

I would look for extra small adult sizes (but I did have a tall 12 year old!)

helloxhristmas · 19/12/2020 10:10

How big is she will she fit in a Xs in m and s women's?

SoupDragon · 19/12/2020 10:11

I wonder if the kids versions all taper in because they have to be closer fitting due to fire regulations?

@SoupDragon surely if that was the case both the boys and girls pjs would taper like that?

Not any boys pjs that are neutral enough for her to wear @OP?

SoupDragon · 19/12/2020 10:19

Do boys not taper then? I didn't look at any of those, just had a sudden thought that kids nightmare isn't meant to be loose fitting.

Great - thanks everyone. She is wearing an old pair of her older sister's at the mo but she's about a foot shorter 🙈. They're an XS from Tesco but look too big.

Great suggestions here though - thanks.

Primark do v small adult size pjs, that's what DD had from age 11-13, only trouble is having to go into the shop.

bravotango · 19/12/2020 10:45

Uniqlo?

CisMyArse · 19/12/2020 11:22

I did consider Primark but the queues are always nuts. I may wander in to an out of town store but get there as doors open to avoid silly crowds.

Thanks everyone

Yesterday I ordered nighties for my sister from Cyberjammies - being delivered today!

The kids pyjamas look great and what you're looking for

Actually, no Primark for me!
Minivanilla's pink pj's has sorted me out! Thanks!
