Can someone help date my pregnancy please!

I went to early pregnancy today as I just found out I’m pregnant and have a history of miscarriage, the nhs calculator told me I’m 7 weeks but from the scan it’s clear I’m not, when I asked how far she estimated I was I was told they had to go off the dates and couldn’t say. Does anyone know around how far this ultrasound looks? I would just like an idea to work off of, I know it’s very early. Thanks x

Are your periods regular etc? No contraceptive while you were having sex like the pill?
I am not sure I understand what they have to go off, which dates? Yours or the scan?

What did the scan come up as date wise? They're usually pretty accurate especially if an internal scan done.

Do you know when you had sex or were you having sex regularly over the month you believe you were pregnant?

I had a scan just like that and was dated at just under 6 weeks.. I thought I was nearly 8 weeks

I was on the pill but we knew it was likely not working as for the last 6 months I’ve been either not bleeding on my weeks break or bleeding after restarting my pill after the break so something was off. The last time I bled was for a week on around October 24th and based on that I should be 8weeks or around that but when I went to me scan she said I wasn’t that far, I asked if she could say around how far gone I was (I thought they should be able to tell from size or stage of development but she said they would only go off the date of my last period which seems crazy to me. I have a Midwife’s app on the 22nd and another scan on nye as they couldn’t see anything much on this scan
