False negative pregnancy tests? Anyone else experienced this?

Missed 2 periods-had implantation bleeding and all the pregnancy symptoms taken 5 tests all negative. Sure I'm pregnant had all the same symptoms as my first pregnancy. Same thing happened with my first pregnancy and I didn't get a positive result until around 9 weeks. Just started bleeding today quite light bleeding (no cramps or anything). Worried in case I might be having a miscarriage and Drs won't scan me because I haven't got a positive pregnancy test. They have offered me a blood test on Tuesday to determine the pregnancy. But if I'm having a miscarriage then it might still say negative. It's stressing me out a lot feeling sad and frustrated that I can't get a definitive answer.

If it is a miscarriage you would still have HCG in your blood. I've personally not had a false negative other than when I've tested too early but I would expect a blood test to be pretty accurate.

Yes the blood test will be definitive as you have to produce hcg in order to have symptoms - it's the hog that causes the symptoms. It would be unusual for some many tests to be incorrectly negative but worth getting checked.

I had two false negatives when I was (unknowingly) pregnant with DD.
