Is there a way of sending cheap flowers/plants?

Hi,
You know the baskets/bowls of spring bulbs/amarylis etc that you get in the supermarkerts/garden centres that make a nice gift, but are not overly expensive? Cost of plants is around £10-15

I would often buy them to give to friends/relatives etc.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get them delivered anywhere?
I've been looking online, thought I might be able to get one delivered to some relatives we won't see.
But the cheapest thing I can see is flowers at £25, and they are pretty small bunch, most are £30+ with delivery on top.

Any suggestions?

Google the florist nearest to the address you want to send a plant to, and then phone and ask them. Some will, some won't.
