I have fruit flies!! I’ve tried the apple cider vinegar traps and wow there must be a quicker way as it’s taking ages and my whole kitchen stinks of the stuff, has anyone found a quicker way? It’s been a couple of days now and there’s still loads

I think apple juice works better, with a couple of drops of washing up liquid added. Make sure to use shallow dishes so the flies can use the liquid easily. If the flies area at a high level, try and put some traps on high shelves if possible.

I was battling these bastards all summer. The best way by far is to keep a few small reading lamps on. They fly onto them and burn up.
