How are you making Xmas special if you're having a quiet one?

This year I'm spending much of Xmas with my partner (our respective kids are with their other parent from noon onwards). I'm really looking forward to having a peaceful, calm one, but am casting around for ways of making it different from us just having a regular Sunday roast together.

We'll do presents, a bit of fizz, cook xmas dinner together then veg out I expect. Just feels a bit weird as I've never had a xmas like this.

I've got in drinks from the 1970s to have a bit of a throwback to my Christmases past

Snowballs, Campari, Martini Blanco, maybe track down some Dubonnet and do they even still make Babycham?

Eat or drink something you wouldn't normally
Baileys hot chocolate
Mulled wine
Put a Christmas concert on
Go for a big walk all wrapped up
Play a board game together
Have a nap
Do whatever you like... You have no one to suit except yourselves, you lucky people!

Definitely hoping for a dry day, so we can have a nice walk (maybe with a flask of Baileys hot chocolate, and some warm veggie sausage rolls!)

We'll stretch out the present unwrapping for as long as possible

Proper coffee and nice pastries

At least one Christmas film
