Best hair dye for blonde hair

Looking to see if anyone has any recommendations please on a box hair dye I can put on my hair for Christmas? The ends of my hair are blonde but the roots are brownish as my natural hair is growing through. Last time I dyed it the roots went ginger, and a different colour to the rest of my hair. Any recommendations please? Thanks

Your hair is a lovely colour. I did my roots with jolen mild cream bleach for face! - a tip I got off YouTube. There's videos of before and after. It worked lovely. I just put some streaks in the front and fringe. Preferred it to the hairdressers as it looks more natural and not as harsh.
