Car park panto - Horrible Christmas

Anyone been yet? Was it good?

Not heard of car park panto. The theatre offered to swap our tickets to socially distanced, one act panto but we declined as we thought a lot of the atmosphere would be lost. Hopefully next year 🙏

It was sold out by the time I tried to get tickets, but in the end my children were isolating when we would have gone so it worked out okay! The only think I thought was if the weather's bad it might not be very easy to watch through the windscreen.

I had booked for Cardiff on Saturday but it’s been cancelled and refunded due to welsh restrictions.

It was good but I think they would have enjoyed the drive in cinema just the same as we couldn't see the stage just the giant screen

Radio was really clear, tricky when it rained as the wipers always miss the top corners and that's where the screen was for us so we struggled for about 5 mins

They had a Santa walking round waving and a snow machine as you drive out

The kids (5 &8) really enjoyed it though

We took drinks and snacks with us

We booked the Edinburgh one, but it’s been cancelled.

Ae have been and enjoyed it. I would say more childrens play than traditional panto. Which suited me!
Lots of flashing lights and horn honking which the dc enjoyed.
Not sure what the food was like like we took snacks

Thank you. Will take snacks. It’s just something nice to do that is very Covid secure (as in own car!)and DS likes Horrible Histories. It’s on NYE so hope it can go ahead.

We only took snacks as we weren't sure what the food options were.

Yes we went, the DC enjoyed it. They liked honking the horns and flashing the car lights. Food was a bit disappointing though, expensive and I wouldn’t say we got what was on the menu.

We did and it was good fun, best but was the car aerobics but it was better than I expected it to be, you listen in via your car radio, they give you the frequency and staff walk around to assist. You interact as others said via flashing lights and beeping your horn.

A car a few doors away from us ran their car battery flat and they got them going again.

We were about 6 rows back and could see fine, but not sure how clear the back rows would have been.
