Royal Mail Santa letter reply

BeHereNowx32 · 16/12/2020 19:28

Hi.
My DD hasn’t received her letter from Santa. (From the Royal Mail). Does anyone know the email address to contact asking about it, please?

It’s not a huge deal, and I know they’re busy, but thought I would ask. The email address was on their website, and now I can’t find it.

Thanks!

I've not had replies for my kids either. We posted early November.

B&m /home bargains type stores have Santa letter templates and replies for parents to secretly send to their child.

Or you could write your own and put it on the doormat for them to find Smile

Biggles001 · 16/12/2020 20:48

I did this for 3 or 4 years In the past and only received 1 reply

Nowaynothappening · 16/12/2020 21:31

I sent mine on the 1st December a few years ago and didn’t get our replies until about a week or so into January. Made sure from there on out we posted them in November and always got a reply before Christmas.

The RM are struggling this year though so I’d cut them some slack.

Ours arrived today Smile

@MrsMyreton that’s nice news. Lovely to keep

I was looking to see if there was a thread on this yesterday - we posted ours on Nov 22nd and nothing back yet. They've taken the email ad off the website too as I guess there are just too many people waiting for responses for them to deal with. My boys are only 4 and 2 so don't really know to expect a letter back but I'm the one eagerly checking the post every day as I've got a 'magic key' for FC to use to get in the front door I was going to put on the doormat when the cards arrived.

Just put a couple of santa pictures in a word document and type your own. Print it off and leave it on the mat in an envelope. That is what I did when DS was little

BeHereNowx32 · 19/12/2020 12:33

Our reply came this morning :)

We sent ours at the end of Nov and got the reply last week.
Just to balance out the story for anyone who’s worried!

Doveyouknow · 19/12/2020 12:38

We got one reply this morning. That was in the first post we post we have had all week! Think royal mail is really struggling. I felt sorry for our poor postie, they had piles of letters to deliver today...

stargirl1701 · 20/12/2020 23:41

Ours arrived yesterday!

SillyOldMummy · 21/12/2020 01:28

No reply here either, sent in November

IHateCoronavirus · 21/12/2020 03:28

Fingers crossed for us. Sent 16/11 but no reply yet. It is the first year DS was able to write his own letter and was super excited.

LoopyLoulley · 21/12/2020 03:58

I did Royal Mail one year and it was fine but now we do the NSPCC ones. You can personalise the letters so each child has a different response from FC. You choose an amount to donate so it's good for the charity too. I usually try to send our letters to FC earlyish like November and then order that night. It did take until 17th to arrive.

paperdreams16 · 21/12/2020 08:16

I wrote letters with my class and sent them around the 8th November (wanted to get in early as I was asking for 30 replies!)

We got a reply around the 10th December.

This. I do the NSPCC ones now. You can personalise and then download and print the template too. I think which would perhaps work if your original one doesn't arrive by Christmas.
AllTheUsernamesAreAlreadyTaken · 21/12/2020 09:06

Ours haven't arrived yet. We sent them at the end of November.
Well try the NSPCC ones next year. They sound great.

JustAPassingFashion · 21/12/2020 09:28

Ours arrived yesterday, we sent them in November.

It seems post on a Sunday is a thing now 🤷🏻‍♀️

misscockerspaniel · 21/12/2020 11:15

IzzyGee Add to that people who don't use the postcode or the correct postcode or who don't write the address and postcode clearly (meaning that the item ends up at the wrong sorting office or worse, lost) or who, on packages and parcels, write the return address in the same size lettering as the recipient's address - it is not unusual for the latter to bounce back to their home sorting office...

toomuchfaster · 21/12/2020 11:40

Got ours this morning, it's brilliant!! Much more involved than I was expecting.

TinyTear · 21/12/2020 11:57

i got one daughter's but not the other :-(
hope the second one arrives today

Mynxie · 21/12/2020 12:05

I second (third?fourth?)the recommendations for the NSPCC ones for next year - I send a different one to each of my 4 grandchildren and they are all completely flummoxed as to how FC knows so much about them. I ordered late Nov and they arrived about 3 weeks later. Such a good cause too.

Daria32 · 21/12/2020 12:18

We sent ours late November. Received a reply for one child, but not the other 2! Maybe they’re on the naughty list! 🤔

wendz86 · 21/12/2020 12:18

Got reply for one child and not the other this morning. Thankfully it was the youngest who is the believer.
