Is she girly girly? Sporty? A bit gothy?

happilybemused · 16/12/2020 19:13

What's that Green Apple one? Is it DKNY?

MrsMiaWallis · 16/12/2020 19:31

Ck One
Tommy Girl
The new Glossier perfume
Marc Jacobs Splash Rain or Daisy

The Victoria's Secret body sprays are also quite sought after

OppsUpsSide · 16/12/2020 19:33

I’ve got DD12 CK1, it’s a nice, fresh, young scent and not too expensive

EskSmith · 16/12/2020 21:00

MrsMiaWallis I opened the thread to say Victoria's secret body spray. Overpriced but highly sought after, I have a 14 year old Xmas Hmm

Perfume is such a personal gift imo. What one person likes someone else may hate!
Also, I’ve loved a particular perfume on my friend but when I bought some for myself it smelt completely different on me.

I bought DD Ellie Saab - Girl of Now when she was 14 for Christmas

LimpidPools · 16/12/2020 21:42

Budget? Any clues?

My first thought was DKNY delicious (the Apple one) I had it when it first came out, but that's a good 15 years ago now. Just see what the most advertising is aimed at/go with what an actual owner of a 14 yo says.

When I was that age I liked watery/fruity/lightly citrusy scents. Others liked very sweet scents. Nobody understood the attraction of Chanel No 5 or other 'old lady' perfumes. It's a bit like we grew out of Archers and lemonade and into red wine really. Amazing how the nose changes! But basically, don't spend a fortune on anything really nice (to you).

evenmoreforthemoor · 16/12/2020 21:43

From my experience 14 yo girls don't want anything other than Victoria's Secret sprays.

My teen likes CK One too, the original one.
