Does anyone know if a Firestick will definitely let me get Disney plus on my Panasonic?

DD is desperate for Disney plus but our (2 year old, btw Angry) Panasonic doesn't have the app. I have seen this recommended, does it really work?

Does the cheaper one work just as well or is the remote helpful?

I didn't realise you could get one without a remote tbh, you need it to be able to select what you're watching. One of our fire sticks is ancient and it works perfectly well on it.

I prefer to cast it from my iPad to a google chrome cast.

We have a Panasonic and watch Disney+ through the fire stick.

A Fire TV stick is like a Blu-ray player - it will show the same thing on any brand of tv. It’s worth getting the 4K version if your tv can do 4K. If not, the cheaper one is fine.

I downloaded the Disney app in amazon and it shows up on fire TV main page/apps to log in. Can also add prime video/disney apps to watch on tablet/laptop.

I have an ancient firestick & it works fine although I am thinking of upgrading to alexa voice one when on offer just as scrolling & any searches can be slow.

I only recently realised that virgin has channels for prime/Netflix so could done without the firestick but i find on my TV at least its bit more temperamental to use.

We use a Roku which is similar to the fire stick but can get now tv on it as well as all of the others.

Yes I have a really old Panasonic in my bedroom from about 2010, I have a firestick plugged in and can access Disney plus no problem.

We have a 2014 Panasonic & Disney+ works fine on it using our 2017 Fire Stick.
