West Devon

I agree west devon. Easy access to the m5, loads of lovely countryside and coast. Good shops in exeter, lots of fab market towns like Tavistock and totnes. Im in Okehampton and you can get a great place with that budget.

Low Fell (near Newcastle) is right next to the A1.

Our 4 bed detached with garden and garage would sell for about that.
Seriously, in much of the country that isnt a tricky budget.

Derbyshire. House next door to me - 3 bed semi with driveway - is for sale at £175k. There’s loads within your price bracket in the Midlands.
