What do I do if a package is marked as delivered, but I don't have it?

I ordered something from eBay and yodel "delivered" it. I spoke to yodel on webchat and they said it was scanned CLOSE to my address so can I check around. No one has this package. I also have a concierge that usually takes packages if no one is home and they do not have it.

Yodel said they would do an interview with the driver and get back to me in 24 hours, but it's been 4 days since I spoke to them.

I'm not sure what to do? Do I just accept my money and item are gone?

Check your bins.

I had this yesterday with DPD. I waited in in the hour window they gave, 3 minutes before the end I get an email to say it had been delivered and signed for. No package here though.
After a bit of a daft phone conversation where they were describing the garden of the house it was delivered to (not mine) it was discovered it had been delivered to and signed for by a neighbour I don't know. I had to go round at knock the door (cringe) and thank goodness they had it (it was an Iphone). Why they chose to deliver it there when I was in (two cars on the drive!) I have no idea.

I would contact Yodel again if they haven't got back to you.

Check bin / hedge / neighbours then get a charge back via your credit card.

Check bins and any outbuildings you have first. If you can’t find it you need to contact yodel again. They may ask you to contact the eBay seller who will have to refund you then put in a claim with yodel.

Thanks everyone. I live in an apartment and no one can access the bins apart from residents. Usually they just leave it at concierge (even though I'm home 24/7) if they don't want to knock on the door. I've asked on the Facebook groups if anyone has packages with my name, but nothing.

Go back to the seller. Explain the problem and ask them to sort it out with Yodel. I have had this with them, seller resent it.

The seller should be able to sort it and get the money back if it wasn't delivered.
I once had a table and chairs that the company claimed was delivered and signed for but i never got but tesco managed to get my money back.
