Private speech and language lessons SW London?

Has anyone used a private speech and language tutor In SW London?

DS has some NHS sessions but thinking whether we should try to top him up with some extras.

What issue are you looking to address?

The only thing is I don't know if a private speech therapist would be willing to do top up sessions as usually the prescribe a course of treatment they oversee themselves.

DS (nearly 3) has a speech delay and hearing issues, we have a hearing teacher and some SLT sessions. FIL has been suggesting we get some more intensive sessions to boost him basically.

What kind of hearing problems has he got? Is his speech unclear or is he lacking language? A private SLT will probably be quite happy to see you alongside a NHS SLT but it's useful for them to know what each other are doing so that treatment isn't contradictory. Check the ASLTIP website for private SLTs in your area and look for one that specialises in hearing loss .
