DH got shifted back to old doctors surgery- how is this possible?

Any advice? Just rang in for an emergency appointment and current GP surgery said sorry he's not a patient here anymore since June 20 where he moved to old GPS. How is that even possible? Unless old GP has somehow falsified records to get him as a patient?? We deregistered with surgery in March 2019 because of poor service.

It’s a bit weird. Have you contacted the previous GP to ask what has happened?

I would suggest doing this:

• contact previous GP to establish why they re-registered him
• contact your ‘current’ GP and explain your DH didn’t ask to be moved to old GP and request he is re-registered back with them
• if all else fails and no one will help then I think you have to complain to NHS England these days (used to be the CCG)

Ask DH in case he decided to go back to the original GP.
