Yes, we're watching!

Sparklingbrook · 13/12/2020 13:36

Hellooo! Yes I am, it seems weirdly early. Grin

popshops · 13/12/2020 14:14

It does doesn't it.

DS has been trying to show me the xmas lights, so far I've missed seeing them.

Verstappen is doing well isn't he, I hope he wins.

DH wants to go in the loft and get the Christmas decorations down, he says if this race doesn't get exciting we'll be doing it very soon...

popshops · 13/12/2020 14:51

It wasn't all that exciting was it...more exciting than Hamilton being in the lead all the way.

Verstappen hasn't kept the fastest lap.

Well that's it I guess-until March is it?

ihearttc · 13/12/2020 18:09

Piece of useless information, I’ve risen around the Yas Marina circuit on a bike!

Borntobeamum · 13/12/2020 18:12

Bit of a parade really.

misscockerspaniel · 13/12/2020 19:51

Hope Perez goes to Red Bull.

Perihell · 13/12/2020 20:32

Utterly boring always is when the Mercs are running

Twospaniels · 13/12/2020 20:41

I took my husband to the Abu Dhabit Grand Prix back in 2015 for his 50th birthday trip.

Really enjoyed it. We stayed in Dubai.

Probably would never have gone to Dubai otherwise, but glad we did go to this.

After race concerts were Blur and Florence and the Machine

LadyofMisrule · 13/12/2020 22:49

The worst race of the season. We're F1 addicts here, and were still willing it to end so we could go and do something else.

AlanThePig · 13/12/2020 22:58

DH thrilled now until the new year. I admit. I'm obsessed.

I watch all the practices, the Friday press conference, hours of post race interviews. I'm up to watch Australia, even the practices there. I live and breathe the sport. I was overjoyed this year when Sky broadcast the testing and I'm hopeful they will again this year.

DH hates it. It bores him but he can't really escape it. Made worse is the fact that my Son In Law works in F1 so when he's home with DD for Christmas he really can't escape it because we have a good catch up.

Netflix did manage to get footage despite this strange season so I'm hopeful fot another Drive To Survive in the new year.

We’re the same, got our 14 year old son into it now. He’s not a Hamilton or Verstappen fan either.Absolutely loved Bahrain with Russell driving best race of season, something going on right the way through the pack.
Only gripe is with David Croft ,so so annoying, always getting things wrong, cutting people off,and sick of the ‘IN’ jokes.
