I miss hugs

I was just reading an article in the Guardian which is accompanied by a picture of 2 people hugging. It moved me to tears instantly. God I miss hugs. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Me too. I've had 5 since march. I know I'm going to hell but I just couldn't cope with shit times, the hugs were just what I needed. No words, just comfort.

Yes! When Died, Mum said she missed the closeness of touch/hugs so much. I’m a carer for dM and have continued to see her throughout lockdowns but I haven’t given her a hug since March. I feel so sad on her behalf.
