colgate deep clean toothbrush

Does anyone have this toothbrush? I started using it yesterday and it really makes my gums tingle/hurt Abit. Is it because it’s proper cleaning them?

Toothbrushing should never hurt
Are you pressing too hard into the gum? With electric brushes you need to be gentle - tilt the brush so that it brushes the gum line where the tooth meets the gum.
Ignore bleeding
Don’t scrub like you would with an ordinary brush
Hold the brush onto the gum and move it slowly and lightly across the gum line

It’s a new technique- you could always ask your hygienist to demonstrate this
