Nice little things that have made you well up recently...

I was in John Lewis early doors browsing. A lot of things in my mind. A member of staff walked past me and with a beaming smile said “ Good Morning Madam!” She will never know how much she lifted my spirits and yet her kindness brought a tear to my eye but in a nice way.

Story on the news about the baby who had coronavirus at 3 weeks old around March. Now a thriving, gorgeous 9 month old. Parents just looked so happy and proud of their wee girl. Mum said she had everything she could ever need. Gulp.

A member of staff from a partner organisation met me and went out of his was to tell my colleague that I seem nice. Made me very happy to think that I made a good impression in a crap year.

My year 2 class singing their nativity song. It’s been a challenging term for a variety of reasons, but hearing the calm and innocence in their voices reduced me to very happy tears

My dcat has been so sad since his dbro was pts in April.. Sitting just meowing and looking lost....
Comfort eating to say the least - as in doubled in weight...
