IsFinnRogersDead · 12/12/2020 16:38

ArseholesOnToast · 12/12/2020 16:48

Phwoar...that sounds proper gorge!

I do like a battered sausage anyway. Might see if my chippy is doing them.

TheSpottedZebra · 12/12/2020 16:48

You north of the border?

TheSpottedZebra · 12/12/2020 16:49

Actually you're not I thinkmif you're calling it a fish and chip tea.
Interesting.

Our local does a festive chip supper . Pie filled with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, bacon, a pot of gravy, chips and deep fried pigs in blankets .....

TopTabby · 12/12/2020 17:02

Merry Christmas x

mrsbyers · 12/12/2020 17:53

Not for me if in batter - the bacon needs to have browned and crisped up

SockQueen · 12/12/2020 17:58

Our chippy (home counties) have been advertising these, haven't tried it yet though!

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 12/12/2020 17:58

We just had a deep fried mince pie with our fish suppers. It was better than I expected but I couldn't have eaten a whole one.

Not sure about pigs in blankets. Need the bacon to be crispy.

myhobbyisouting · 12/12/2020 18:01

Excellent 😊

CigarsofthePharoahs · 12/12/2020 18:03

Sounds utterly gluttonous.
Where might I purchase this?

Pascha · 12/12/2020 18:04

I'm down south, very. It was delicious but you can't come and get one because I'm in tier 3.

My local chippy is doing deep fried sweet battered mince pies with a little portion of chantilly cream to take out.

Pascha · 12/12/2020 18:08

I was going to call it supper but since we ate just after 4pm I didn't think I'd get away with it.

Justgivemewine · 12/12/2020 18:19

@FabulouslyFab that so cute 😄😄

Manolinette · 12/12/2020 18:32

A pig?

Deep fried in a blanket? Sounds very Lord Of The Rings to me. Bloody Orc food.

LaurieSchafferIsAllBitterNow · 12/12/2020 18:35

our chip shop did this last year and I had a PigInBlanket supper but was very underwhelmed and after reading mrsbyers comment I just realised why... the bacon was not crispy!

helpfulperson · 12/12/2020 18:52

Ooh that's sounds nice and might make up for the disappointment of Gregg's not doing their Christmas dinner soup.
