Do you know anyone whose bleak situation/life got better?

I’ve had a fucking horrific 3 years. I feel almost numb from it all and exhausted. Family members dying, fiancé leaving me out of the blue, early mc with fiancé, met someone new a year after who was incredibly emotionally abusive, had a huge pay cut, lost a good friend...to name a few. I’m lonely and crushed by the last few years and people say things change and get better. But when? Im holding on but can’t see anything nice happening anytime soon.

Well. My childhood was one of poverty and abuse. Now I do ok happily married own my own home and two lovely dc. I am very grateful. Things do change.
I recommend CBT too. It really can help. CakeCake

You've had a really hard time but of course things can get better and they will. Sad and difficult events happen to everyone but some get more than fair share. Xxx

I think everyone is right now. Make sure you are valuing what you have got and the strength you have gained through living through tough times. You are a survivor.

Yes, it happened for me and DH, lost job, young kids, really skint, cancer scare. I thought this is just endless and couldn’t see a way out of it.
Had an op for cancer, they found it was slow growing and confined to one area, DH got a new job, I got a CS job as kids were slightly older..... things got better but I still remember how lucky we are, could have been so different.
You’re luck will change too Op, just know that good things are coming. 💐
