I opened an account with a wine merchant early in lockdown and have had a few deliveries since. In fact I've managed to set up deliveries with quite a few local companies, it's been great (especially now I have "it") to get really good quality food and drink delivered by local companies and avoid the supermarket. During the summer, a glass of wine on the patio after a day of wfh was a lovely way to rule the day off and create a divide between work and home.

However, the bastards keep a tally of what you've spent. No one needs to see, in black and white, what they've spent on wine this year Grin

If your neighbours start commenting on the number of bottles in your recycling bin, then start worrying Grin

Ive not seen a tally, but we got caught out when DP and I both signed up so we could get two introductory offers. We then postponed the next delivery, stupidly assuming this would push them all back a bit. It didn’t, and we ended up with 4 cases of wine being delivered in 10 days. We had over 50 bottles of wine 😮 That was not the point.

If your neighbours query the number of cases of wine coming into your house, tell them you are intending to build an art installation.
