Hello
I’m 29 years old and have had a baby five years ago I had a bad delivery and doctor had to use forceps and had to get stitches. I healed fine however five years later I’m starting to have a problem it started as uti symptoms burned when I pee pain burning everywhere I was tested for stis all clear had ( blood taken, urine taken, swabs) all came out negative. They put me on antibiotics anyways after that I started feeling pressure and pain so I took a mirror down there and found a hole in my perinum ?
I seen a few doctors none seem to know what it is exactly
I seen a gyno who told me she thinks it’s a perineal sinus tract bc it dosent go anywhere and that I was fine and to to home and ignore it and live with it
If there is nothing wrong then why am I in pain when I sit or walk and most recently hurts during intercourse I’m getting a second opinion
Has any other mom out there go through something similar ?
Kind of bizzar help ?

Sorry can’t help but have got something similar. How big is it roughly? I have a hole left from my baby (only 3 months old) from forceps and all that jazz. My doctor referred to mine as a dimple and said it’s similar to a closed up ear piercing, bit bigger than the tip of a ball point pen. But was told the same as you. Mine has been ok though, it was slightly infected a little while ago but recovered and sometimes I get pain in that general area (kind’ve like it’s being stretched slightly).

Am sorry you are experiencing this. I come from a country with high rates of fistula and wondered if this is what you have. Ask for a second opinion and mention fistula and birth injuries during the appointment. If possible go to a women's health clinic www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/rectovaginal-fistula/symptoms-causes/syc-20377108
Hope it is resolved soon
