Northisterone - 3 days on, no bleeding and feeling crap

The last few weeks have been a bit random.

I accidentally pulled my coil out (long story) in November, just before I was about to visit my bf. He’d been working away and we had a few days of shagging planned which happened to fall just before I ovulated (ovulated day after I came home according to dates). So I took the Ella one MAP the morning I left (I was there for 3 days and it works for 5 days so figured it would be fine).

Period was due on Tuesday last week, but it didn’t come which I wasn’t entirely surprised about as I know the MAP can make it a bit later/earlier. I still hadn’t come on by Wednesday so I got a bit twitchy and did a test, which was negative. That was 15 days post ovulation so should have shown as positive if I was pg.

The problem was, my bf was coming to visit me on Friday a week ago, planned around my period having been and gone by then (they are usually very short and light). By Wednesday, having done the negative test, I decided to take northisterone to delay my period as it was going to be bad timing for the weekend otherwise.

Bf ended up staying longer than planned so I took it from Wednesday last week until Tuesday this week, which is longer than I’ve ever used it for before.

Now it’s been over three days (last pill was lunchtime Tuesday) and I’m not bleeding. I do however feel completely rancid, banging headache, dizzy, really sore breasts and just feeling like I want to crawl under my duvet.

Hoping for some reassuring tales about people who have taken it and have started bleeding more than the time it says in the leaflet, which is 2-3 days? And also I realise my symptoms are common side effects but wondering how long they take to pass? I’ve never had problems like this when taking northisterone before but I’ve never taken it for that many days before, usually just 2 or 3.
