Center Parcs alternative?

My kids all adore Center Parcs... where can we go that’s similar but not as expensive?! The DCs are twins aged 12 who can have a bit more freedom, and an 8 yr old. Definitely not camping!!!!

We went to bluestone in Wales about 5 years ago and it was lovely but I think the prices might be comparable to cp unless you can go out of term time, which I'm sure you can't. Sorry not so helpful!

There's sandy balls in the new forest too.

It’s a caravan park, but a very nice one and has older-kid water sports on the doorstep: waterside in Weymouth www.watersideholidaygroup.co.uk/check-availability/check-availability-by-date/

Sandy Balls used to be brilliant when it was a family owned company, its gone down hill since a big company bought it IMO.

Oh sad to hear that about sandy balls, many a fond childhood memory, but it was mostly caravan, statics and a few log huts then

If you like the look of finlake then pm me, I used to work there so can give you some tips of the best accommodation to choose. Some are better than others :)

kelling heath in Norfolk. ..its lovely. camping , tourers or lodges

Centreparcs in Europe? 1/3 of the price when we used to go. Kempervennon in Netherlands was the best - has a year-round snow dome for skiing/snowboarding, wipe-out course on the lake, waterskiing etc. Amazing place and cheap as chips. Close to Eindhoven airport and around 2.5 hours from channel tunnel.

Butlins in bognor is nice. The hotels are relatively new, clean and well looked after. They have spent 40million on a new swimming complex to which is great. Would definitely recommend.

Seconding Bluestone, we have been the last 2 summers and it was brilliant. My children are younger than yours and I’ve thought both times it would be great for older children, lots of activities and the accommodation is very comfortable.
