How much did you pay for your real Xmas tree?

OP posts:
BooseysMom · 11/12/2020 15:07

I paid £22 from Wilko and it's the perfect size for our lounge. I won't pay more than £25.

Kittybakes89 · 11/12/2020 15:07

£29 from ikea, you also get a £20 voucher if you buy a real tree from them

Firststariseetonight · 11/12/2020 15:11

£32 for a 5 foot one, local grown Norman fir. Spruce are cheaper.

Yip another one bought from Ikea for £29 and the £20 voucher, this is our 6th year buying from them and the trees are great.

User415373 · 11/12/2020 15:33

£25 for 9ft Norwegian non-drop. It's beautiful. Local farm.

LilyRose88 · 11/12/2020 15:35

£35 from a local fruit and veg stall by the station. I get one from them every year and they always deliver it for me. It is over 6ft tall and very bushy.

Beachcomber · 11/12/2020 15:35

£15 for a lovely bushy one that's about 6ft.
I reckon they had priced it incorrectly but I did double check with them and gave them the opportunity to rectify it and then shoved it quickly in the car and sped away

MeepleMe · 11/12/2020 15:36

£25 for 5ft Norwegian spruce from a local farm shop.
Why do you ask OP?

AgnesNaismith · 11/12/2020 15:37

£60 - it’s part of a yearly tradition of going to the Christmas tree farm and spending hours debating about and looking for the perfect tree. So it’s a tree and a day out for that price!

SkylightAndChandelier · 11/12/2020 15:38

50 Euro - but we went to a farm picked it in the 'field' and a guy came with a chainsaw and chopped it down in front of the kids.

Second year we've done it, and I love the ceremony of it all, so don't mind paying that little bit more.

WillingWarlock · 11/12/2020 15:38

Haven’t got it yet but it will be about £40

FestiveChristmasLights · 11/12/2020 15:38

£40

infinitediamonds · 11/12/2020 15:38

£20 from local farm shop, its 6 foot but a bit thin at the top so they only charged for a 5.5 foot apparently.

ShrikeAttack · 11/12/2020 15:41

Ive got three Norwegian spruce

1 7 foot £38
1 8 foot £50
1 9.5 foot £62

They were delivered yesterday and are going up on Sunday. Happy days!

Brokenchair1 · 11/12/2020 15:41

£32 for a Nordman fir from home base. 6ft and very lovely and bushy.

Talisin · 11/12/2020 15:43

£60 for a 7 foot Nordmann fir today from our local garden centre which they just delivered. It’s really gorgeous (although still somewhat damp).

HelplessProcrastinator · 11/12/2020 15:43

£23 for 6-7 ft tree from local nursery. We spend ages picking it then the DC get to help bag it up. Annual tradition.

BobBobBobbing · 11/12/2020 15:43

£45 for a 10 foot Nordmann from a local farm. Only place I've found that do them big enough for me. Grin

MotherofTerriers · 11/12/2020 15:44

£55 6ft delivered. Which is expensive but we are in tier 4 and I didn't fancy explaining to the police why I had left our area for the essential purchase of a Christmas tree
