First world problem I know, dd3 (13, about to turn 14) has only asked for one significant thing for Christmas. This pair of trainers.
Little bit of back story, I had a breast cancer diagnosis back in June and have been in and out of hospital since. We are very close so it’s been really hard for her, not just obviously from a worrying about me point of view, but she had to isolate throughout the holidays and take lots of extra measures for me. She’s a sensitive girl and can find things very overwhelming so I know how hard it’s been, but she’s been amazing. She has her own health issues which can be hard but she copes really well. She has hated the school lockdown measures as she can’t mix with her good friends (restricted to form room) but despite this she’s just had a fantastic report and parents evening in terms of attitude and effort. She’s funny and lovely and has been so so brilliant in the crappiest of years, hardly asks for anything. I just want to say thank you with the only things she desperately wants.
And they are sold out everywhere, online and in store.
It will be OK if she doesn’t get them 😊 I will find something else and she’ll be happy, but I’ve seen some of the previous similar threads and know you guys on here are so great at finding things so I thought maybe I’d try asking before giving up completely. Just in case by some magic they could be found anywhere. TIA.
Size 6, has to be the lace ups. 😊
