Stop fire tablet from spoiling xmas

When I go to Shop, the first thing you see is Previously Viewed Items. Most of which are things I've bought as presents!

Family uses the fire for all sorts of activities.

I've deleted browsing history from my amazon account but they are still showing on fire.

Bloody amazon. Last year it was alexa shouting out what was being delivered. Or toys arriving unpackaged.

Chuck the damn thing out! It's a spying device.

I don’t think you can unless you set up a separate Amazon account & link it to that?

Yes Alexa has been filling her in on my shopping.

You can turn the Alexa announcements off using the Alexa app.

Well all these things are designed to keep an eye on you

I've removed the ability to see the shop on my son's new fire. He can only access the things I want him to see now.
