I put an add on pers4homes saying I was looking to rehome a dog preferably a spaniel. Im in Scotland.

Someone text me saying they had spaniel pups £100 each theyre in Manchester but can be delivered. Asked about mum they said she cant be seen shes already sold.

Sounds to me either like a scam or a puppy farm.

That's so sad. It seems to be so common. I reported a lot to that site but I'm not sure anything is done. A lot of breeders /sellers use the same pictures of the parents for litters across the uk. Sadly people are buying these puppies some even convince themselves they are rescuing the puppies.

No way is this legitimate.
£100 is ridiculously cheap. Dog is possibly stolen.

I can't help with who to report to, but for rehoming a dog, have you tried the Springer Rescue? PILs got a lovely Springer cross from there. They had to wait a while, but she's fab and very worth the wait.
