Anyone else loathe a supposedly much-loved tv character?

I didn’t like most of the Grey’s cast. Except Christina who was amazing.

I hated Meredith for ages but love her now. I like the way she has handled the utter shit that life has handed her.

Derek is almost as vile as George though.

Derek was awful.

Recently rewatched from the beginning. Alex was clearly meant to be the worst, but at least he was the only one not pretending to be a nice guy!

I hated Mark Sloane.

I liked him up until he slept with meredith. He knew she was a mess but he did it anyway.

He wasn't nice to callie either ajd him and izzy were ridiculous.

Loved Mark sloan though. Him.and Alex were probably the only ones who weren't pretending to be something they weren't.

Derek was a dick. Constantly shut shaming meredith even after he dumped her for his ex wife. Who he also treated like crap.

I know I can’t believe Derek was meant to be a likeable character he was awful to Addison and awful to Meredith.

Meredith sobbing her way through sex with George and he slammed out and huffed about it for ages. No concern. He was horrific to Callie with Izzy for no reason -were we meant to be rooting for George and Izzy?? I’m bloody glad he got hit by a bus.

I got so sick of the " I dont want you but no one else can have you " narrative. Derek had no right to go off on one when he turned up and mer was at the vets in fins shirt.

And taking the credit fir the study then treating everyone around him like shit when it didnt go so well.

I loved the " you dont get to call.me a whore" rant. How dare he...

Izzy ruined herself. She got topped marks for putting Alex in his place when he plastered the wall in pictures but then she got ridiculous as you say with George.

Yes George and Derek were both horrible.

Mark Sloane I thought was a much better man, because he was more unashamedly himself and not pretending to be a 'nice guy.' It's like with George and Derek they were wearing a nice guy mask, and Mark Sloane wearing an arse hole mask. But deep down George and Derek were vile and Sloane was probably a nice guy

Oh God yes Owen. Swoops in finds someone vulnerable, marries them then gets all high and mighty like hes never made a mistake or done something bad. Always trying to change the one he's with and is all in instantly, but moves on super fast.

I know we were supoosed to hate Addison but it wasn't her fault Derek chose her but wouldn't forgive her then proceeded to make them both bloody miserable. Forgive and move on ir dont but for gods sake dont make them think all is OK then throw it in their faces.

I dont know what happened to callie either, the whole arizona cheating thing didn't make sense seem to come from no where, I went right off callie with the custody thing there was no need. I ended up team Arizona.

And April, went from annoying and whiny, to brave heroic and strong then back to whiny and annoying again.

And Jackson god he went all cliche dickhead.

Chandler Bing. Just meh.

I used to love Greys but it’s a completely different show now.

Yes the only characters I've really rooted for are Arizona during the court case and Addison when Derek was putting her through the ringer.

Cristina Yang was the best though.

It's that awful, whiny, pouty sister of Meredith's I can't cope with... and she's a flipping heart surgeon! And the fact that they all just swap partners periodically, no one ever manages to stay in a happy relationship, and all the women walk around with long swishy hair all over the place while apparently being surgeons.... yes, it takes a lot of suspension of disbelief. And yet, I remain an addict.

Alex was a good, complex, engaging character, and was by far the best actor of the bunch who really developed that character. The fact he jumped ship mid script said a lot really.

Yeah it should have probably ended season 10/11

There have been some amazing stabd alone episodes, the first one if season 12 with the two young girls on the tracks probably the last time I recall.liking callie.

Stephanie's last episodes were good and the one with the wall of women..

Other than that its turned into one of those dreadful soaps that dr house watched in house.

He got a totally shitty exit though. And completely unbelievable. Alex would just never have done that. I loved him and Jo.

Has anyone seen any of season 17? No spoilers, but I am finding it utterly harrowing to watch.

No he and jo were great together. Never ever would he have left her let alone for izzy...

Oh yes I would rather Alex had been George O'Mallied than end up with Izzy. So ridiculously unbelievable. He would have stayed with Jo and fought Izzy through the family courts

I wish I hadn’t opened this. I’m only up to season 15 after rediscovering it recently. Alex and Jo split up? Noooooooooo!

Yes how do u just forgive and forget and move in with someone you had no idea was even alive let alone had your babies and never told you...

No. It's gone from NOW TV too so I think you might have to par per episode
