I've been helping my year 4 daughter with homework and I've realised there is so much I never learnt. Like when to use a comma or a semi colon. I never really knew where punctuation should go inside or outside speech marks and I didn't know each bit of speech should start with a capital letter. I don't know what an article was. I understand ending in ly but not the other ones.
It's made really reflect on my writing and I realise I write really long sentences. I learnt a lot at school but not grammar but I want to learn now. Shall I buy a letts book? Can I improve now?
