Anyone asked to see their medical records?

If so, did you get what you were looking for? I requested mine for the last 18 months and after a lot of hassle finally have received some records... but they're from my 2 DCs births over 10 years ago, as well as the medical records of another woman's birth from 7 years ago. I don't know her. So clearly this isn't right, but I just thought maybe I need to reset my expectations. How hard is it to actually get to see one's own medical record??

It should be easy peasy. If there is something they need to discuss with you, they can do that. I have online access to all my records. But you shouldn't have to fight long to get them.

If you submit an SAR, then they have 30 days to provide it. The request needs to be reasonable and have parameters, such as from 1 jan 2018 to now, pertaining to me at Bradford hospital, for example. You shouldn’t have got someone else’s records and should flag it abd either destroy them or return them.
