I have Covid and am wfh. This is day 5 and it's not really more than a cold, but this afternoon I've run out of steam and am going to have a little lie down.

What do I want to watch? until I nod off

Gilmore Girls, on Netflix. So soothing.

AlbaAlba · 10/12/2020 14:40

911 (on Prime or NowTV) is entertaining. It's a bit strange in that it ranges from outright silly, to really emotional, with a great cast.

Dontstepinthecowpat · 10/12/2020 14:41

Feel better soon. Emily in Paris on Netflix, totally binge worthy and easy watching.

Thurlow · 10/12/2020 14:44

I'm currently signed off with depression and am cheering myself up by binge watching The Musketeers. Tom Burke in leather Wink

quince2figs · 10/12/2020 14:56

The Durrells or Gavin and Stacey

OhToBeASeahorse · 10/12/2020 14:57

Nativity on Netflix. Warms my heart!

GlennRheeismyfavourite · 10/12/2020 15:04

Downton Abbey on Prime

DuzzyFuck · 10/12/2020 15:08

Below Deck on Netflix. Beautiful scenery, (some) Beautiful People, and so much DRAMA!

squashyhat · 10/12/2020 15:11

Virgin River on Netflix. 2 series - 10 episodes each of beautiful scenery and engaging but not demanding storylines,

tinselfest · 10/12/2020 15:12

Hairspray.

MrsFionaCharming · 10/12/2020 16:47

Legally Blonde

MrsJackRackham · 10/12/2020 16:49

Schitt's Creek or Still Game, both on Netflix.

FourTeaFallOut · 10/12/2020 16:51

Another vote for Schitt's Creek here.

WantChewbaccaForGood · 10/12/2020 16:53

Hope you are feeling better OP, I recommend Ghosts on BBC iplayer!

HollyandIvyandallthingsYule · 10/12/2020 16:54

The Bishop’s Wife, on Amazon Prime.

Hope you’re feeling ok.

MobLife · 10/12/2020 16:54

Omg Below Deck-you'll not regret it!

QueenPaws · 10/12/2020 16:55

Virgin river or northern rescue

VerlynWebbe · 10/12/2020 16:56

Have you ever watched Detectorists on iPlayer?

It’s so beautiful, gentle, affectionate and wry. And we’ll worth watching right to the very last minute.

I’m not very much of a crap tv person (bar a bit of mid-run Grey’s Anatomy) and Detectorists is my comfort watch.

elizabethdraper · 10/12/2020 16:56

Escape to the chateau on All4

Figmentofimagination · 10/12/2020 16:57

Cheesey made for tv Christmas movies. There are a few Christmas movie channels on sky/virgin (e.g. Christmas 24) or you can find some to stream from channel 5.

They usually all follow the same premise but they are easy to watch and relax to.

Maisieme · 10/12/2020 16:57

I second Detectorists. Loved it, so gentle.

VerlynWebbe · 10/12/2020 16:57

Tom Burke, you say? Leather? 😅

PuppyMonkey · 10/12/2020 16:57

Only made it through 2 episodes of Schitts Creek, couldn’t earn to any of them.

You need The Queen’s Gambit in your life OP. So stylish!
